Job summary

Eventide Home Healthcare in Lincoln, NE seeks a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support home health services in Kearney, Buffalo County and surrounding areas. The PTA works under a licensed PT to deliver care in nursing homes, home health settings and affiliated facilities.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate PTA with Nebraska licensure, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license with auto insurance. Local travel and compliance with vaccination requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Nebraska State PTA license in good standing required.
• CPR certification required; valid Nebraska driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Reviews client charts and prep information; seeks guidance from supervising PT.
• Identifies abnormal physiologic changes and reports them to supervising PT.
• Performs PT treatments as delegated, following initial evaluation and plan of care.
• Collaborates with physician and health care team to develop the plan of care for clients.
• Participates in client care conferences and contributes to plan of care development.
• Maintains documentation per department standards and ensures timely communication with families and care team.
