Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health — Long-Term Care Clinical Services is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join an integrated clinical team onsite at LTC facilities in your community. You will provide therapy, assessments, care planning, and behavioral health support with robust administrative and clinical backing to focus on resident well-being.

You'll collaborate with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehab teams, conduct comprehensive evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychologist in good standing.
• Experience with geriatric populations and long-term care settings.
• Ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy for older adults with complex medical or cognitive needs.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy and family sessions as appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate daily with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehab teams to optimize resident care.
• Maintain timely, compliant documentation and uphold HIPAA and APA standards.
