Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health — Long-Term Care Clinical Services seeks a Licensed Psychologist to work onsite in LTC facilities within the local community. You will provide therapy, assessments, care planning, and behavioral health support with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist qualification required.
• Experience working with older adults or complex medical/cognitive needs preferred.
• Strong documentation and regulatory compliance skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, including diagnostic assessments and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy for older adults with complex needs.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Provide behavioral management interventions for residents, staff, and families.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Manage caseload independently with ethical, professional standards.
