Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health seeks a Licensed Psychologist to join our LTC clinical team onsite. You will perform evaluations, psychotherapy, and care planning for older adults across facilities, maintaining autonomy with strong support from the interdisciplinary staff.

You will collaborate daily with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehab teams, ensuring documentation meets HIPAA and APA guidelines while providing compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist with expertise in geriatric behavioral health and clinical assessment.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Experience collaborating with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehabilitation teams.
• Proven ability to document thoroughly and adhere to regulatory and ethical standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations, neurocognitive screenings, and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide individual psychotherapy and family caregiver support.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy and behavioral management interventions.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and manage caseload with clinical judgment.
