Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric services in Skilled Nursing Facilities in Kansas. Candidates need to be licensed in Kansas with a focus on psychiatry and have at least one year of Geriatric Psychology experience. Qualifications

• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
