Behavioral Health Solutions in Pittsburg, KS is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP, PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team serving the geriatric population. This full-time, W2 role offers a competitive base salary with incentives and a total earnings potential of $195,000+ annually, plus PTO, CEU support, and comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Kansas by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Kansas Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA)

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
