Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join our team in Wichita, Kansas, specializing in geriatric mental health. Qualifications
- 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.
Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
- Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
- Apply medical decision-making skills for mental health issues.
- Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
