Job summary

Oak Street Health is hiring a Primary Care Physician to deliver equitable, value-based healthcare to Medicare populations within our neighborhood clinics. You will work in a center supported by large care teams, focusing on high-quality outcomes rather than volume of services.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. Senior candidates may be considered for Center Medical Director roles in our expanding network.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO graduate.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (or eligible).
  • Active, non-probationary, unrestricted State License.
  • Active DEA license.
  • US work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose patients at local clinics.
  • Oversee, direct, and administer primary care.
  • Prescribe and administer pharmaceutical treatments and medications.
  • Maintain Patient Electronic Medical Record data via canopy and Greenway.
  • Collaborate with regional and central leadership to meet health quality goals.
  • Work with Practice Managers to direct and manage the center care team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
