Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Physician to provide primary care for seniors in Anaheim, CA. This geriatric primary care role emphasizes chronic disease management, preventive care, and care coordination within an interdisciplinary team, with a Monday-Friday schedule and no weekends or after-hours calls.

Compensation ranges from $250,000 to $280,000 per year plus bonus potential, with comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance, Malpractice Insurance, a 401(k) match, PTO, holidays, CME

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required.
• Active California medical license is required.
• DEA registration is required.
• Experience with geriatrics or elderly care is preferred.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills are essential.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care with comprehensive assessments and ongoing management.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in an elderly population.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists and the care team to coordinate patient care.
• Order and interpret tests and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and preventive care.
• Supervise and collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
