Jobot is seeking a Physician for geriatric primary care in Bakersfield, CA to deliver compassionate, patient-centered medical services for seniors. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to manage chronic diseases and coordinate care, focusing on independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
• Active California physician license required.
• DEA registration required.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care, including comprehensive assessments and ongoing care management.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in an elderly population.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding disease management and prevention.
• Supervise and collaborate with nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
