Job summary

TeamHealth in Roanoke, VA is seeking a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C for a full-time role providing psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management for older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings. The position offers Monday–Friday schedule with no nights or weekends, onsite patient care and remote documentation, and strong organizational support.

Candidates must hold Virginia license (PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C) and DEA, with new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Virginia license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C
• Active DEA or willingness to obtain
• New grad PMHNPs or Psych PAs welcome to apply
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings
• Provide brief interventions and behavioral management
