Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C to provide psychiatric care for older adults in post-acute and long-term settings in Texas. This full-time role offers 5 days per week, with no nights or weekends, and a mix of onsite patient care and remote documentation to support clinicians.

You will conduct evaluations, diagnose and treat psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders, and prescribe psychotropic medications while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across Fredericksburg and

Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Texas license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
Active DEA or willingness to obtain.
6 months experience as PMHNP or Psych PA.
Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
Evaluate behavioral and safety concerns.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
