Job summary

Curana Health, Inc. is seeking a physician to deliver high-quality, person-centered care across skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. You will lead clinical care, mentor APPs, and advocate for residents while enjoying autonomy and flexibility.

This role emphasizes geriatrics and value-based care, with a focus on meaningful, complex work and data-driven tools to support patient outcomes. Travel to assigned facilities is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment; Active DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide history and physicals on new patients and conduct routine rounds (minimum once per week).
• Partner with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to manage regulatory and complex patient visits; ensure compliance and clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance; mentor and resource to elevate care delivery across the team.
• Close quality gaps when prompted; drive improvements in patient outcomes.
• Advocate for patients; champion what matters most to them.
• Represent Curana Health's mission and values as a clinical leader and ambassador in the communities served.
