Job summary

Miami Jewish Health seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to administer skilled PT interventions under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The role supports aging adults with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and contributes to discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers treatment per plan of care and within state practice act.
• Implements discharge planning and documents in medical records.
• Attends IDT meetings and provides updates on patient progress.
• Supervises rehabilitation aides and students; guides delivery of services.
• Assists PT with equipment ordering and issuance of DME; coordinates with other disciplines.
