Job summary

Miami Jewish Health in Florida's PACE Centers is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide PT services to participants. You will assist under a Licensed PT, document treatments, and participate in the IDT for patient progress.

Qualifications

• Current Florida State License as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Valid Florida driver's license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• 1 year of experience with geriatric population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in treatment of physical therapy participants under the direction of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Documents participant treatment in the medical record according to policies and procedures.
• Reports observation of the participant’s performances and responses to the Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assists Physical Therapist with ordering equipment, durable medical equipment, and supplies.
• Prepares participant’s weekly schedule and assignments in a timely manner.
