Job summary

Mercy seeks a Physical Therapist to work under Therapy Leadership, delivering objective assessments and comprehensive treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. You will supervise patients and rehabilitation staff while adhering to Mercy standards and policies, contributing to quality care and patient outcomes.

Education must include an accredited degree in Physical Therapy and current licensure in the state.

Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• Six months to one year experience in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy preferred.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and supervise rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants as permitted by State Practice Acts.
• Adhere to Mercy policies, standards, and mission while delivering high-quality patient care.
