Job summary

360Care is seeking a compassionate Optometrist to provide eye care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. You will travel to sites, perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and treat ocular diseases, and prescribe glasses as needed.

You’ll educate patients and staff while maintaining high-quality, compassionate care. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible scheduling and no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• OD degree and active license required.
• Geriatric care experience preferred.
• Ability to travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities.
• Conduct eye exams with mobile optometric equipment and interpret results.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases.
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on vision and optical care.
• Deliver excellent customer service through patient interactions.
