Job summary

360care is actively seeking a compassionate Optometrist (OD) to join our geriatric, underserved community program. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities to perform eye exams using mobile equipment, diagnose and treat ocular diseases, and provide eyewear prescriptions with support from our logistics team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree is required.
• Active state optometry license is required.
• Licensed Optometrist in good standing encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Travel to skilled nursing and long term care facilities for exams.
• Conduct eye exams with mobile optometric equipment and interpret results.
• Diagnose and treat ocular diseases.
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses.
• Recommend follow-up care and treatments.
• Educate patients and staff on vision care and protocols.
• Deliver excellent customer service during patient interactions.
