Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a current state RN license.
• CPR certification and nursing specialty preferred.
• Experience in gerontological nursing and long-term care setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret regulations and document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing care provided by CNAs and others.
• Manage staff assignments and ensure resident safety and care quality.
• Prepare work schedules and assignments and monitor performance.
• Coordinate medication administration and documentation per physician orders.
• Respond to resident requests and resolve staff issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
