Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living, located in Olney, IL, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse supervisor to oversee nursing care across resident care teams. You will ensure safe, compassionate services, coordinate medications, and support CNAs and staff in delivering high-quality elder care.

The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Experience in gerontological nursing or long-term care and EMR proficiency are preferred to support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license issued in the state.
• Current CPR certification; additional nursing certifications desired.
• Experience in gerontological nursing; long-term care preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience required or preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to interpret regulations and professional journals.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by CNAs and others under supervision.
• Directs work and assigns duties to nursing team members.
• Plans, assigns, and directs unit work considering resident safety.
• Reports staff shortages to nursing management promptly.
• Participates in performance evaluations affecting tenure and raises.
• Coordinates medication administration and documentation per schedule.
• Conducts nursing assessments and notifies physician of changes.
• Ensures compliance with facility policies and procedures.
