Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Olney, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to plan, coordinate, and oversee nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will supervise CNAs/CMTs, administer medications, perform assessments, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN license in Illinois.
• CPR certification required; additional nursing specialty cert desired.
• Prefer 2+ years of long-term care experience.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret regulations and ensure resident safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by nursing assistants and others under supervisory responsibility.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in line with policies and laws.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work of nursing team members (CNAs/CMTs).
• Prepares work assignments considering resident safety and staff capabilities.
• Reports staff shortages to nursing management and assists with evaluations.
• Schedules and coordinates breaks according to resident needs and labor laws.
• Responds to resident requests for pain intervention and documents in records.
• Coordinates physician orders and transcribes them to resident care.
• Performs nursing assessments and notifies physicians of status changes.
• Maintains medication administration accuracy and narcotics accounting.
• Monitors emergency equipment and ensures proper use of nursing supplies.
• Ensures compliance with facility policies and procedures.
