Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Olney, IL seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to plan, coordinate and manage nursing care for our residents. You will supervise nursing assistants and coordinate with the Director of Nursing to deliver high-quality geriatric care under physician orders.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license, CPR certification, and 2 years in long-term care. Excellent communication and EMR skills are required as you lead a dedicated caregiving team.

Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• CPR certification required; advanced nursing specialties preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing care provided by nursing assistants and others.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work of nursing team members.
• Monitors resident safety and ensures compliance with policies and laws.
• Administers and documents medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Conducts ongoing nursing assessments and notifies physicians of changes in status.
• Coordinates nursing care on the unit to ensure appropriate staffing and quality of care.
