The Alden Network is seeking a nursing supervisor in Chicago, IL who will provide direct nursing care and oversee day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local standards and promotes the highest quality of care at all times.

Qualified applicants hold an IL or WI RN/LPN license, CPR certification, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and knowledge of elderly care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license for IL and/or WI.
• CPR certified or to become certified within two weeks of hire.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and elderly care required.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants daily.
• Ensure care aligns with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies.
• Lead and coordinate nursing activities for assigned unit.
• Document care plans and communicate changes to physicians and families.
