Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Nurse Aide I training program required.
• Medication Aide in Adult Care Home Training Program required.
• Listing on the Nurse Aide I and Medication Aide registries through NCDHHS without substantiated findings.
• CPR Certification, AHA or ARC, Adult Module.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration - Safely performs the technical aspects of medication administration in accordance with NC state laws and guidelines for residents in specified buildings, including documentation and medication supplies handling.
• Provide routine geriatric health care services and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Engage residents to support well-being and participation in Life Enrichment activities and related programs.
• Record resident care activities, observe for health changes, and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and collaborate with PT/OT/Speech Therapy as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities.
