Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State-approved Medication Aide training program preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Active Medication Aide certification in good standing with the state.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: Accurately prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders and company protocols.
• Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in residents' health status, behavior, and physical condition; measure vital signs as needed.
• Resident Engagement: Build positive relationships with residents through compassionate care and effective communication.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow infection control procedures and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations; ensure carts and records are organized and secure.
