Job summary

Senior Care Therapy, LLC is seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to provide in-person psychotherapy within skilled nursing facilities across the MD region, including Upper Marlboro. You will collaborate with facility staff and families to support residents’ mood, functioning, and quality of life.

The role includes billable services with administrative support covered by SCT, access to PacEHR EMR, and opportunities for full-time hours, sign-on bonuses, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of practice.
• Effective oral and written communication in English.
• Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities, up to 45 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in a subacute or skilled nursing facility.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, cognitive decline).
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using the EHR system.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
