Job summary

Senior Care Therapy seeks Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to provide in-person psychotherapy for geriatric residents in SNFs across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. The company handles billing, credentialing, and pre-certifications to let you focus on clinical care.

We offer customizable full-time opportunities, a 32- or 40-hour workweek, a sign-on bonus up to $6,000, and comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, PTO/holidays, and CEU reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Active LMFT license in the state you apply for.
• Excellent oral and written English communication.
• Proficiency with technology including EHR systems.
• Strong organizational skills with regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide in-person services at facilities up to 45 minutes.
• Ability to walk between rooms and offices within facilities.
• Full Vaccination and Booster status may be required in some facilities.
• Preferred: prior clinical experience in subacute/geriatric settings.
• Experience treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
• Psych or addictions experience is a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for patients in subacute or skilled nursing facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions including depression and anxiety.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards using the EHR.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
