Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health—Long-Term Care Clinical Services is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our integrated clinical team. You will perform evaluations, individual and family therapy, care planning, and behavioral health support onsite in LTC facilities in your community.

The role offers professional autonomy, a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, and robust support from administrative and clinical teams to focus on delivering compassionate geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist able to provide therapy and comprehensive assessments for older adults.
• Experience in geriatric behavioral health or long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong documentation, ethical standards, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual psychotherapy tailored for older adults with complex needs.
• Facilitate family therapy and caregiver support sessions; lead group therapy when appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate daily with nursing, social work, and medical teams; participate in care plan reviews.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA and APA guidelines.
