Job summary

MediLodge of Cass City is seeking a Dietetic Technician to assess and plan nutritional care for residents, coordinating with the RD and Food Service Director. The role emphasizes compliance with state and federal regulations and accurate nutrition documentation.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate’s degree in Dietetics and an active Dietetic Technician license, with preferred experience in long-term care and geriatric nutrition. ServSafe is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Dietetics or related field or have completed an Accredited Dietetic Technician Program.
• Active license to practice as a Dietetic Technician in the state.
• ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred.
• Experience in long-term care and geriatric nutrition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical nutrition documentation for residents per nursing center policy and regulations.
• Communicates with the RD on a routine basis.
• Ensures diet orders and therapy menus are planned and documented accurately.
• Coordinates with the Food Service Director/Manager to review menus and resident dietary needs.
• Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to update care plans and resident preferences.
