Job summary

MediLodge of Cheboygan is seeking a Registered Dietitian to assess and plan nutritional care for residents in accordance with standards, policies, and procedures. You will work with the Food Service Director to ensure quality nutrition and therapeutic meal planning, while adhering to regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, licensure or certification as applicable, and experience in long-term care nutrition is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Experience in long-term care nutrition preferred.
• ServSafe or similar food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical nutrition documentation for residents per policy and regulations.
• Ensures accurate, descriptive documentation of services and resident response.
• Participates with interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Coordinates with Food Service Director to customize menus to meet resident needs.
