Job summary

MediLodge of Frankenmuth is seeking a Dietetic Technician to support nutritional care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will maintain documentation, collaborate with the RD, and help tailor regular and therapeutic meal plans in coordination with the Food Service Director/Manager.

The role emphasizes adherence to federal/state regulations, resident engagement, and menu customization to meet nutrition goals. Training opportunities and a supportive team culture are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree not required; an associate degree in dietetics or related field is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clinical nutrition documentation for residents in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Coordinates with the Food Service Director/Manager to review and customize regular and therapeutic menus.
• Interacts with the RD regularly to ensure assessment and progress notes are accurate and informative.
• Participates in the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans.
• Obtains feedback from residents/family to improve diet plans and menu items.
