MediLodge of Cass City is seeking a Dietetic Technician to assess and plan nutritional care for residents in coordination with the Food Service Director. The role emphasizes compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and requires collaboration with the RD and care staff to deliver high-quality nutrition services.

Applicants should have an Associate degree in Dietetics or related field and hold or pursue appropriate licensure; experience in long-term care and knowledge of menu planning

Competenze

• Education: Associate degree or completion of Accredited Dietetic Technician program.
• Licenses/Certification: License or certification as mandated by the state and active dietetic technician credential preferred.
• Experience: Experience in long-term care and geriatric nutrition preferred.

Mansioni

• Maintains clinical nutrition documentation per Nursing Center policy and regulations.
• Communicates with RD regularly to ensure accurate assessments and progress notes.
• Ensures documentation is timely and compliant with policy and regulations.
• Participates in interdisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Interviews residents and families to tailor individualized care plans.
• Coordinates with Food Service Director to review menus and diet orders.
• Monitors menu variety, temperatures, and nourishment distribution.
• Assists with diet orders, tray cards, and admission nutrition history.
