Job summary

Majestic Care of Toledo is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support rehabilitation for geriatric residents under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs, functional mobility, and independence, working closely with an interdisciplinary team.

Strong clinical skills in OT, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of geriatric care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with PDPM and SNF documentation standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises and ADLs to improve independence.
• Monitor resident responses and communicate progress to the OT.
• Support adaptive equipment use and provide caregiver instruction.
• Maintain a safe, engaging therapeutic environment and promote resident participation.
• Document treatment sessions, progress, and observations per policies and regulations.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, and OSHA standards.
