Majestic Care of Goshen is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support rehabilitation under a licensed Occupational Therapist. You will implement treatment plans to improve ADLs, mobility, and independence while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a geriatric setting.

The role requires an associate degree in OTA, current COTA licensure, and strong documentation, communication, and empathy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Current state licensure as a COTA.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with PDPM and SNF documentation standards is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions as outlined in the treatment plan developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with adaptive exercises and functional activities to improve independence in ADLs and mobility.
• Monitor resident responses during treatment sessions and communicate progress, concerns, or changes to the OT.
• Support the use of adaptive equipment and provide instruction to residents and caregivers to promote safe and effective use.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.
