Job summary

Majestic Care of Toledo is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our compassionate care team. You will implement individualized treatment plans under a licensed Occupational Therapist to improve residents' ADLs, mobility, and independence in a geriatric setting.

Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, document progress, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility policies while maintaining a safe, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Experience in geriatric care and SNF documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT interventions per the supervising OT's treatment plan.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises to improve ADLs and mobility.
• Monitor responses and report progress to the supervising OT.
• Support adaptive equipment use and provide caregiver instruction.
• Maintain a safe, engaging therapy environment and document sessions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for coordinated care.
• Ensure HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control compliance.
