Job summary

Majestic Care is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a PRN basis in a geriatric care setting. You will support the delivery of high-quality rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, focusing on ADLs, mobility, and resident independence.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, accurate documentation, and adherence to HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an ACOTE-accredited OT assistant program.
• Current state licensure as a COTA.
• 1–2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric setting preferred.
• Familiarity with PDPM and SNF documentation standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT interventions as outlined by the supervising OT.
• Assist residents with ADLs and mobility exercises to improve independence.
• Document treatment sessions and resident progress per policy.
• Maintain HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control compliance.
