Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledgeable of dietary techniques and procedures.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals, desserts and snacks per menu; accommodates special diets.
• Sees to serving meals that are palatable and presentable.
• Keeps work area clean, organized, sanitized; washes pots and pans as needed.
• Adheres to health code requirements for storage and holding temperatures; maintains documentation.
• Estimates and prepares food supplies to meet serving portions.
• Maintains a safe, clean and respectful work environment.
