• Manages lab data collection systems and test orders.
• Correctly identifies patients to prevent treatment errors.
• Collects blood from patients, mainly elderly.
• Prepares and distributes specimens.
• Upholds infection control policies.
• Communicates with patients and documents information accurately.
• Orders and maintains lab supplies.
• Keeps work areas clean and stocked.
• Maintains confidentiality of information.
• Coordinates with lab manager on lab issues.
• Works independently and in a team.
• Complies with OSHA, CLIA, and federal regs.
• Maintains professional appearance and attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.
