WVUH West Virginia University Hospitals is seeking a Nurse Aide (CNA) for full-time day shifts. You will provide routine daily nursing care, assist with ADLs, feeding, hygiene, and mobility while following the plan of care and policies.

Strong communication and accurate documentation are essential for patient safety and quality care. The role requires CNA certification, WV nurse aide certification, and the ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification issued by state where services are provided or due within three months of hire.
• WV Nurse's Aide Certification through the WV Department of Health and Human Resources.

Responsabilidades

• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts per policy and ensure accuracy.
• Measure and record temperatures, pulse, and respirations.
• Provide care for adult geriatric patients per age-specific standards.
• Assist with daily hygiene, nail care, and mobility.
• Support feeding and food intake documentation.
• Assist with ADLs and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Report all allegations of patient abuse and accidents.
• Assist with specialized feeding techniques as advised by speech therapist and PT.
