Job summary

Homewood Living Spring House is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for the Day Shift. You will assist residents with daily living activities under the supervision of licensed staff, promoting independence and comfort.

Responsibilities include personal hygiene support, nutrition assistance, and accurate reporting of resident changes to the Head Nurse. A CNA certification is preferred and full-time hours are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to frequently lift and transfer up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn constantly for 8 hours.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to perform sequential tasks.
• Motivation to work with geriatric residents.
• English communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities under licensed staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist with personal hygiene and nutrition support.
• Ensure clean linen and proper bed making.
• Document changes in resident condition for nurses.
• Contribute to care planning and ADLs as directed.
