Qualifications

• Listed on the state registry as a Nursing Assistant within 120 days of employment.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and assist with transfers.
• Able to stand/walk/bend for an 8-hour shift.
• Motivation to work with geriatric residents.
• English-speaking and reading/writing at a level for care plans.

Responsibilities

• Treats all resident information as confidential and follows policies.
• Maintains established standards and practices.
• Assists with personal hygiene tasks (bathing, dressing, nail care).
• Provides linens, makes beds, and supports resident comfort.
• Supports nutrition by serving meals and assisting with feeding when needed.
• Performs resident treatments under supervision within nursing scope.
• Records resident data concisely and reports changes to the team leader.
• Participates in resident care planning and implements care plans.
• Promotes daily living activities per the care plan.
• Lifts/transfers follow the Lift Free Program when required.
• Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor.
