Homewood Retirement Centers is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to assist residents with daily living activities under licensed staff supervision. The role emphasizes maintaining independence, privacy, and dignity for geriatric residents.

Responsibilities include hygiene care, nutrition support, and participating in care planning, with emphasis on safety during lifts and transfers. Training is onsite, no certification required to start.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently during shifts.
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and turn for 8 hours.
• Strong organizational skills for sequential tasks.
• Motivation to work with geriatric residents.
• Good English communication, both written and spoken.
• CPR certification and First Aid preferred.
• Licensed Nursing Assistant in the state is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living under supervision.
• Treat resident information as confidential and follow policies.
• Provide personal hygiene care (bathing, shaving, dressing) as needed.
• Ensure clean, dry linen and bed making.
• Support proper resident nutrition during meals and snacks.
• Perform resident treatments within nursing scope as assigned.
• Observe, record, and report changes to Head Nurse.
• Participate in planning resident care.
• Promote activities of daily living per service plan.
• Conduct lifts/transfers per service plan and Lift Free Program.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
