Job summary

Homewood Retirement Centers is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide daily living support to residents under licensed supervision. You will assist with hygiene, feeding, and mobility, while maintaining confidentiality and following care plans.

The role requires active participation in resident care planning and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications include registry listing within 120 days, ability to lift 30 lbs, and proficient English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the state Nursing Assistant registry within 120 days of employment.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents up to 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to speak and write in English to carry out care plans and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living care under licensed staff supervision.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow policies.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, and hygiene tasks as needed.
• Record resident information concisely and report changes to the team Leader.
• Participate actively in resident care planning and follow the care plan.
• Assist with linen, meals, and nutrition, and ensure resident comfort and safety.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
