Job summary

LakeHouse Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse’s Aide to support residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. The role includes maintaining clean resident rooms and assisting with activities of daily living to promote dignity and safety.

Qualifications include CNA certification preferably, a high school diploma, being 18+, and prior experience with seniors.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management and co-workers.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness of resident’s room and work areas.
• Helping residents maintain independence, promoting dignity and physical safety of each resident.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, eating).
• Engaging residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
