Job summary

Stadium Brew Co. in Aliso Viejo, CA is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager in running day-to-day operations across the restaurant and bar.

This hands-on leadership role requires a positive, motivating leader with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction. You will lead service, manage inventory, monitor budgets, enforce SOPs, and contribute to marketing and events.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age with valid food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent).
• Extensive bar knowledge and bar management experience preferred.
• Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience required.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities

• Own inventory management and vendor ordering.

Compensation & Perks

• $24-26/hr, commensurate with experience with potential for bonus earnings based on performance. Regular Overtime

The Role

You’ll partner with the General Manager to run day-to-day operations across the restaurant and bar. This is a hands-on leadership position - you'll be on the floor with the team, not behind a desk. The right person is a positive, motivating leader with a genuine passion for hospitality.

Schedule

Must be available every Sunday and Monday. Tuesday evenings preferred. Additional days picked up as needed. May be able to work out something closer to full time, especially if taking on the Event Coordinator role. If doing so, must be available to coordinate on-site or ensure appropriate staffing for events. Ability to pick up shifts for GM when out of restaurant highly preferred.

What We're Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid food safety certification required (ServSafe or equivalent)
• Extensive bar knowledge required; bar management experience strongly preferred
• Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience required
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Strong understanding of front-of-house and back-of-house operations
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• A customer-first mentality and the ability to lead by example
• Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is a plus but not required
