Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Thermal Project Management, to lead a large combustion power plant project in the Chicago area. You will oversee development, engineering, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning, coordinating a cross-functional team to deliver the project on time and on budget.

You will manage risks, oversee interfaces among contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance while traveling to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; 7+ years in combustion power plants.
• Experience delivering large-scale power projects from development to COD.
• Travel up to 25% is required during construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead project through development to COD, meeting scope, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate workload across multiple teams and contractors to ensure seamless execution.
• Represent the company with third parties, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
