Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Geothermal Energy Systems Technician to join the field operations team. The role covers installation, operation, and repair of geothermal equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will work outdoors in challenging conditions, diagnose issues across mechanical and electrical systems, and help ensure continuous energy production. Training is provided and the position offers growth in a growing energy sector.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification or certification in Mechanical Fitting, Electrical Engineering, or related trade.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Hands-on problem-solving with pumps, turbines, valves, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, and maintain geothermal plant equipment including pumps, turbines, and heat exchangers.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in geothermal systems.
• Monitor system performance via control panels and tools; adjust operations as needed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations in all tasks.
• Maintain logs of maintenance, repairs, and operational data.
