Job summary

Dig Energy, Inc. in Manchester, NH is seeking an experienced field technician to operate and maintain our custom geothermal drill rig on customer sites and in R&D tests.

You will mobilize, set up, operate, monitor, and demobilize equipment, install geothermal loops, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate on-site activities with engineers and customers. This hands-on role requires 2–10 years of field experience, willingness to travel, and the ability to work outdoors in demanding

Qualifications

• 2–10 years of hands-on field work in drilling, construction or field service.
• Willing to travel frequently for short and extended periods.
• Comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Experience with heavy equipment, drilling, or industrial machinery.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Mobilize, set up, operate, monitor, and demobilize drilling equipment and supporting systems.
• Operate high-pressure pumps, hydraulic systems, drilling equipment, tooling, controls, and related support equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of wear components.
• Install Dig Energy's geothermal loops including finishing, flushing and grouting.
• Basic plumbing of geo fields.
• Support the testing and development of new drilling methods, tooling, equipment, and operating procedures.
• Coordinate on site activities during full installations.
