Job summary

Dig Energy, Inc. is seeking an experienced field technician to operate and maintain our custom geothermal drill rig at our Manchester, NH site. You will be the primary operator for R&D and customer installations, following test plans and communicating results to engineers.

You will oversee all drilling activities at customer sites and ensure safety and efficiency. The role requires hands-on field work, travel, and comfort with outdoor, physically demanding tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years of hands-on field work in the drilling, construction or field service industry.
• Comfortable working on construction sites and in R&D environments.
• Willing to travel frequently for both short and extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Mobilize, set up, operate, monitor, and demobilize drilling equipment and supporting systems.
• Operate high-pressure pumps, hydraulic systems, drilling equipment, tooling, controls, and related support equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of wear components.
• Install Dig Energy’s geothermal loops including finishing, flushing and grouting
• Basic plumbing of geo fields
• Support the testing and development of new drilling methods, tooling, equipment, and operating procedures.
