Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Maintenance Planner to own planning and scheduling for its geothermal fleet. The role reports to the Director, Maintenance & Reliability and focuses on turning maintenance needs into ready-to-work orders.

The planner will spend time in the field with Operations and Maintenance teams, build plans, estimates, and manage backlog. The work emphasizes planning (80%) and scheduling (20%).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance planning and scheduling in industrial settings.
• Direct CMMS experience (MaintainX, Maximo, SAP or similar).
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance concepts.
• Experience scheduling multi-site or multi-unit maintenance.
• Experience coordinating parts and materials with supply chain.
• Strong written communication for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Convert work requests into fully planned work orders with scope, parts, hours, and discipline.
• Process fleet work requests (PM/CbM and field requests) by priority and asset criticality.
• Create reusable job plans by equipment type.
• Provide labor and time estimates and iterate plans with technicians.
• Maintain CMMS as the system of record and report KPI.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to align schedules.
